~Days Like This~ :Austria/Roderich X Reader:

Today truly was a day best spent lazing around, was what [Name] couldn't help but think to herself whilst making coffee, a sure-fire way to get her boyfriend out of bed and in the right room. As now that the only thing to do was wait, she took her cup and retreated to the couch, blankets and all.


[Name] herself wasn't a morning person, and she often mused that without the extra boost of caffeine, she'd be a zombie.


She looked up when there was movement in her peripheral. Yawning, Roderich mumbled a greeting, reaching the counter with the coffee pot.


"I like this." [Name] said while staring into her coffee, effectively breaking the quiet atmosphere. Roderich began pouring himself a cup, before finding his place next to her on the couch. "I second that."


The Austrian agreed, to which [Name] hummed in response. He chuckled slightly at her half asleep behavior, snaking his arm around her covered waist. [Name] didn't seem to notice, as instead she was trying not to topple head-first into her coffee.


[Name] began sipping the hot liquid, waiting to feel the energy that would carry her through the day. Though instead of being met with the toasty beverage, she found Roderich's lips on hers. The lock was brief; he pulled away in favor of grabbing a few small cakes to enjoy the rest with, but the effects of his action might just be stronger then the caffeine.


While his back was turned, the Austrian took the opportunity to smile at what he done. [Name] blushed slightly, wondering why she didn't think of doing it.


If anything, the two needed more of these days together.
